POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The NOVA Swim School Learn-to-Swim classes are scheduled as part of a “perpetual scheduling” format.

A valid Visa or Mastercard must be on file to secure your day/time. As your lessons continue, accounts will be automatically billed monthly on the last day of each month for the following month.  If you prefer to pay by cash or check, payment must be made before the last day of the month to avoid being automatically charged. To cancel lessons for the following month, notification must be given to the NOVA Swim School office no later than the 20th of the previous month.

*Prices do not include a $20 per family annual registration fee.

If classes are cancelled after payment has been made a credit will be placed on your Nova account for future use. There are NO REFUNDS – NO EXCEPTIONS.

NOVA Swim School offers year round group lessons (30 minutes), private lessons (15 minutes), and a pre-competitive program at specified locations.  Be advised that there are no drop-offs for the Learn-to-Swim program.

Learn to Swim classes are scheduled as part of a “Perpetual Scheduling” format. Accounts will be billed monthly on the last day of each month. The paid lesson day/time is yours unless you let the office know you are cancelling.  Your account will be charged for the whole month unless you notify the office to completely cease your lessons. To cancel lessons for the following month, notification must be given to the Swim School Office by the 20^th of the previous month to not be charged.

Pre-Competitive lessons are offered in 12 or 14 week sessions. All enrollments after the start of the session will be pro-rated. 

Tuition is due in full at the time of registration. If registering by phone, please provide a valid Visa/MC as payment. If you prefer to pay by check, a check written in the full amount must be delivered to the office no later than the close of business on the first lesson day. There is $25 fee for returned checks, and lessons will be suspended until all fees are collected.

Failure to pay for classes will result in the removal of the student from class. Tuition is charged on the basis of enrollment, not attendance.

Missed Private/Group Lessons & Make-Ups

Cancelled private and group lessons are entitled to make-ups – no credit or refund. Cancellations must be made no later than 9am the day of your lesson. Failure to give notification of a missed lesson will result in the loss of that lesson as well as no make-up lesson.

Make-ups for cancelled private and group lessons do not expire if you have a valid registration fee with us. A missed or cancelled make-up lesson will result in the loss of that make-up lesson.

NOTE: Notifying a NOVA Swim School instructor does not qualify as advanced notification and will thus result in the loss of the lesson.
